Service Opportunities

We provide flexible respite services tailored to the needs of our clients. All required support/assistance needed are made available when you need them. Additionally, our respite support programs offer relief to parents and residential support staff for short period, typically over a weekend.

GLQCS Provides Residential Services in Three Methods.

Group Home​

This service is ideal for individuals who need supervision and a structured environment. In this model, clients are placed in a group home setting, with careful consideration given to matching individuals who will thrive together. Our homes are supervised around the clock by qualified support professionals who are deeply committed to the welfare, safety, and security of our clients.

Supportive Roommate

This approach offers clients a personalized residential support experience within a family setting that aligns with their unique needs and lifestyle. Our supportive roommates, considered valuable members of our team, undergo thorough training, orientation, and guidance in accordance with our policy framework.

Supported Independent Living

This service offers support to individuals living independently in their own homes and communities. Our staff assists with appointments, budgeting, bill payments, shopping, and other daily living activities, helping individuals enhance their autonomy in managing their home and personal responsibilities.

Respite Support

We offer this service to give primary caregivers and families of individuals with disabilities a much-needed break from their daily caregiving responsibilities. Our respite care can be provided in the client’s home or at an external location. During this time, Guardian Light Quality Care Services Inc staff assist the client with personal care, home management, social engagement, and overall well-being.

Community Access Support

We offer this service to enhance clients’ inclusion in community activities and support their personal growth through various avenues like arts, education, recreation, participation in community programs, and volunteering. At Guardian Light Quality Care Services Inc, we create social opportunities tailored to the client’s goals and preferences, helping them engage meaningfully with their community and build valuable connections.

Employment Support

We provide Employment Support Services to assist our clients in finding and maintaining meaningful employment that aligns with their skills and personal goals. This Guardian Light Quality Care Services Inc program empowers individuals with disabilities to make valuable contributions to society and be recognized for their efforts. Through this program, clients can choose to pursue employment or volunteer opportunities. The primary goal is to help clients set personal goals, develop new skills, and build positive relationships within the broader community.

Complex Service Needs

We offer specialized support for individuals with developmental and behavioral disabilities, along with co-occurring mental health disorders. For those facing challenges with substance use or other high-risk behaviors, we provide compassionate care through harm reduction models. Guided by insights from each individual’s assessment, we adjust staffing ratios to ensure safety while helping them work toward their goals. Our professionally trained staff, backed by a dedicated supervisory team, are fully equipped to provide attentive and personalized care to the individuals we support.
